Lauriston horses made an impact at the Cup meeting held at Shepparton on January 16. Born To Rocknroll ( Aston Villa ) convincingly won the Graham Head Memorial 3 year old classic in 1.57.7 . 
Belinda and Luke McCarthy made a special effort to have the horse arrive in Victoria earlier than planned to compete in this race. Nathan Jack took the reins and controlled the race from the start.  It is a special race for the owners, having won it last year with Yankee Rockstar ; Born To Rocknroll's full brother. 
Yankee Rockstar finished a good third in the Shepparton Cup and stepped well from the stand. He will be further improved by racing at this level. 
Courageousnquick  ( Rigaleto Franco ) now trained by David Aiken , won her first race for the new stable taking out the BMW Pace in 1.56.1. With earnings around the $230,000 , she is a most consistent mare. 
Yankee Rockstar and Courageousnquick were both sold through the Melbourne APG Sale.

Musical Delight has made the exciting transition from racetrack to broodmare . The Group 1 and Group 3 winner of $248,910 from 18 starts 11 wins and 5 placings became a devoted Mum on January 4 with the birth of a Well Said colt.
