It was a very exciting finish to the APG Vic Gold Bullion Final ( Group 1 ) on Saturday May 29 at Tabcorp Park Melton. 
The winner was the Lauriston bred Irish Black Label ( Bettors Delight - Rosie OReilly. ) After drawing badly in Barrier 10. David Moran was content to bide his time near the rear of the field, pulled out in the back straight and led up the three wide line. The speedy filly reeled in the leaders to win by 1.10 metres in 1.55.4. This was her third race start for 2 wins and a second and $85,980 in prizemoney. 
Lauriston had a hand in the breeding of all 3 placegetters. First and third horses were bred by Lauriston and they also bred the Dam of the second placed horse. 

The Rocknroll Hanover horse Yankee Rockstar is to stand this season at the Goodtime Lodge stud of Ian and Judy Slater at Elliminyt near Colac. His first commercial crop foaled in the 2019/20 season are good types and have received positive reports from breeders. 
A yearling colt by him sold for $21,000 at the recent Melbourne APG Yearling Sale. 
His Fee is $1980 including GST with the first 30 mares at a discounted fee of $1550 incl GST . His progeny will be eligible for Vicbred ,  Breeders Crown and The new Vicbred PURE ($12,000 first win bonus) provided  eligibility conditions are met. 

Irish Black Label ( Bettors Delight - Rosie Oreilly. ) Rosie's first foal was successful at her first race start at Geelong winning the two year old fillies Classic. She is trained by Emma Stewart and driven by Kate Gath. Irish Black Label led all the way in 1.56.6. 
​Beach Villa, the 2 year old full brother to Poster Boy did not disappoint his supporters when he won the Sapling Stakes at his first start. The Emma Stewart  trained gelding led all the way to score by 9.2 metres in 1.55.1. creating a huge impression. Such was the ease with which he won , Dan Mielicki stated " This is a Star on Day One '
