The $322,000 APG Colts Final will be held at Melton on Friday April 22. 
Our Little General won his heat and continued his success in the series by winning his semi final  leading all the way in 1.55.4. None Bettor ( Limerick Star ) finished fifth in the semi to join Our Little General in the final.
Lauriston bred and sold 7 colts at the 2015 APG Sale and is proud that 2 of those colts  are in the final of Australasia"s richest 2 year old race. Good luck to the owners !

Yankee Rockstar has been crowned the Victorian Country Cup Championship Winner.
The 5 year old's three wins in the Stawell Cup, the Cranbourne Cup and the Kilmore Cup plus a third in the Shepparton Cup saw him take out the award for this season.  
Yankee Rockstar is enjoying a spell at Lauriston. 

Two Lauriston bred colts contested the APG Heats on Friday night at Melton. 
In Heat 2 None Bettor  ( Bettors Delight-Limerick Star ) finished in second place , beaten a head . He was a $90,000 purchase and is trained by Andy Gath. He is the second foal of Limerick Star and is a half brother to Rosie O'Reilly who won a heat and semi of the APG. 
Our Little General ( Mach 3-Kabbalah Karen B ) (pictured ) started a short priced favourite in Heat 3. He led from Barrier 3 and scored a decisive victory by 16.6 metres , last half 57.6 . The General has started 4 times for 3 wins and a second , $34,550 and a time of 1.55.8. He is an exciting colt who has inherited his dams high speed. He is trained by Emma Stewart and was purchased for $39,000. 
He is the second foal of Kabbalah Karen B ; a mare possessing wicked speed , a best time of 1.52.4 and earnings of $285,098. She was purchased in the USA as a broodmare and although unsound raced 12 times in Victoria. She failed to earn on only 2 occasions ,winning her M1 at Tabcorp Park Melton in 1.53.8 before retiring to stud. Her first foal , a three year old filly is back in work.Her Art Major yearling colt sold for $61,000 to clients of Geoff Webster.   

Parisian Rockstar contested the Heats of the Bathurst Gold Crown. He drew Barrier 7 and finished fourth in his heat. On March 26 he contested the consulation and drew Barrier 7 again. 
This time the result was different; he came back a winner. Rating 1.57.1 for the 1730 metres he was forced 3 wide for the first 800 before finding the spot outside the leader. He proved too strong with a powerful last half of 56.4.
