Lauriston had three starters in the trials on Tuesday. All trialed over 2240 metres and were trained by Emma Stewart.
TRIAL 3 ROCKNROLL ICON . Won his trial in 1.56.4 , last half 57.3. Sat behind the leader, pulled out at the top of the straight and won effortlessly.
TRIAL 9. HURRICANE HARLEY . Showed Gate speed and led from 7. Has had a short let up and won with something in reserve in 2.00.6 last half 57.5
TRIAL 16. POSTER BOY. Returned from his spell in fine form. Led from 1 and won in 1.56.7 , last half 55.6 unextended.
KILMORE RACES JUNE 12.
Congratulations to the connections of Stefsbest on his first win as a 3 year old . He was a $58,000 yearling purchase and has won $77,540 to date. The same syndicate of buyers returned and paid $130,000 for another Lauriston colt the next year. Stefsbest is a half brother to Follow The Stars and last years APG sales topping yearling filly who sold for $160,000. She has broken in extremely well and is now into her second preparation. Good luck to her owners Terry and Ros Cluse who are loyal Lauriston clients.
