He then lined up in the Youthful Stakes $20,00 on June 9 at Tabcorp Park Melton and faced opposition from a strong field of up and coming 2 year old colts including ; Beltane, Major Times, Concealment and Big Bad Bruce.
Leaving from Barrier 4 Poster Boy was speared to the front by Chris Alford and was never headed , recording an effortless win in 1.54.1., last quarter 26.8 with the plugs still in and a margin of 11.4 metres to the second horse .
Poster Boy drew Barrier 8 in his Sires Stakes Heat at Bendigo on June 20. Chis Alford wasted no time in getting him away from the rail and into the running line , quickly finding the one out one back trail. Turning for home Poster Boy rounded up the leader and won convincingly by 6.2 metres in the fastest time of the night ; 1.55.8 for 2150 metres.
He is a half brother to Yankee Showgirl, Yankee Rockstar and Born To Rocknroll.
